Gosh you write nice code @kvcalvin . I really only have two three suggestions:

  1. Add a short header to the top of every code file, just giving overall purpose of code, author, date
  2. Run sessionInfo() and put its output into the README document, or if you like a separate text file. That will capture all the necessary version numbers.
  3. When in press, update README, and update with link to published paper eventually.

I did #1 and #2. For #3, I've put a place holder in the README and will complete once in press.
