Hello hunterk
I had an error starting "Exec".
I added "Exec=retroarch" to the file "/var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/retroarch_retroarch.desktop" and it works. It is the only .desktop that lacks the Exec line.
The "retroarch.wrapper" line deletes the RetroArch icon
