Focalboard v7.2.1 is the September 2022 release.

Linux: Download focalboard-linux.tar.gz
Mattermost: Install or upgrade to the latest version of Mattermost to automatically get Boards included. Or update to the latest version of the plugin from the Marketplace (needs v6.0+)
Personal / Development Server: Follow the install or upgrade guide

Major updates in this release:

  • Organize your boards in the new navigation sidebar with custom categories
  • Press Ctrl+K / Cmd+K to load the board switcher to find additional boards.
  • Set board and template permissions in the new Share dialog
  • Link boards to channels to automatically grant channel members board permissions.

  • Added indexes to improve performance.
