I think this one is pretty straight forward. Few points worth noting:

  1. Double check the usb connector once soldered. It usually requires some retouching to remove bridges. Use continuity tester!
  2. Double check orientation of the WS2812 before reflowing.
  3. Check filament and grid/anode voltages before connecting the VFDs. Recommended for this clock is 1.4V filament, 20V-25V grid voltage.
  4. Due to large digits, the TD62783 can heat up to around 40°C. That's fine for normal ambient temperature but if you're not confortable with that, you can just set a bit lower maximum brightness in config portal.
