Yes, Flask allows you to create custom 4xx and 5xx error pages (see https://flask-doc.readthedocs.io/en/latest/patterns/errorpages.html). This is what is required here

but there is no main.py file how is it possible

The file nipo/nipo_api.py does the job of main.py (and contains what you would expect to find there).

Please let me know if you are not able to get it to work using this and I will update the Readme to include detailed instructions for this part. I have noticed that there are some details that I left out and I will have some time over the next 24 hours to update the Readme so it contains sufficient instructions.

Also, this tutorial (https://pythonise.com/series/learning-flask/flask-application-structure) might help you to understand how to make sense of a Flask app without a main.py
