RICardo 2017.12

This is the first public release of the RICardo dataset under the licence odbl v1.0.
This dataset is precisely described under the data package format.

This release includes 368,871 bilateral or total trade flows from 1787 to 1938 for 373 reporting entities.
It also contains python scripts used to compile and filter the flows to fuel our exploratory data analysis online tool.

The complete dataset is available either as a set of CSV files + python script to treat them (Source code package), or as a ready to use CSV unique file (RICardo_2017.12.aggregated_flows.csv.zip) which results from our aggregation and filtering scripts.

This version is the first release of the RICardo database as a set of CSV files.
