The

initializes two instances of_childControllerContainerView
, both are added to the MMDrawerController's view. The issue occurs because the first initialization requestsself.view.bounds
. At that timeself.view
isnil
so the view gets loaded, andviewDidLoad
gets called. TheviewDidLoad
method sets thechildControllerContainerView
's background color which leads to a second initialization ofchildControllerContainerView
because at that time the view is still nil:This can be fixed by modifying the
