Basis Universal

Lumix Engine supports compression with Basis Universal. This is disabled by default. Follow next steps to enable Basis Universal:

  1. run projects/main.bat

  2. go to Plugins - Basis Universal

    cmdline

  3. choose Download

  4. choose Build

  5. choose Deploy

  6. Enable Basis Universal support in Engine by passing --with-basis-universal to genie.exe

  7. Rebuild the engine

  8. optionally delete .lumix directory in data, it might contain images compressed with rgbcx
