Official Bash Sticker Giveaway
As some of you might have heard, Chet Ramey the maintainer of GNU Bash announced that the project was having a vote on a new logo. After 30,000 votes a winner was chosen:
We decided to print some stickers and hand them out at conferences but not everyone goes to conferences so that wouldn't be fair. Since we are not in the sticker business, we thought it would be cool to give some stickers away online. Yes, there is a catch but a good one. Here is how you get 1 Bash sticker:
- Make a donation of any amount to the FSF: https://my.fsf.org/donate/
- Print out Receipt with the Transaction #
- Put the receipt into a BUSINESS Size Envelope
- With another Business Size Envelope, write your name and address on the front with a STAMP, no stamp no sticker.
- On the envelope that contains the receipt and self-addressed envelope address it to:
