##What is the app you want to develop?

Zika virus awareness - Our project goal is raise awareness of Zika virus by giving all the information regarding disease transmission, prevention, treatment and recent news. Also possible additional functions such as providing methods to help users check how much they know about the issue with quizzes, games or something related.

##What is/are the problem/s you want to solve?

We are trying to raise the awareness of Zika virus since it is a relatively new issue and a lot of people only heard the name but does not know much about the virus in detail.

##Who are the users you are targeting?

Due to our intent to provide as many of the people of Brazil as possible with viable information on the Zika virus, we will be targeting the Android mobile application userbase as it makes up roughly 70% of all phone users in Brazil.

##How will this app solve the tackled problem/s? Provide a vision statement.

This app will raise the knowledge of brazilian population about Zika virus and possibly decrease virus spreading.

##What are the major features of the app?

Provide information about the virus, regarding its transmission, prevention and treatment Provide a way to certify that the user knows about the virus. Provide a way to enforce the users to do the prevention troubleshoot. Provide latest news about the virus

##How is this app unique? Why do users need this app?

Brazil attracts an increasing amount of tourist traffic throughout the year; given the ongoing outbreak of the Zika virus, it is paramount to raise people’s awareness of the ailment (and preventative methods therein) to prevent it from becoming a bigger issue than it needs to be. As mentioned, the mobile market is dominated by Android applications within our targeted user group (that being Brazil) and having a free application out on the mobile market could serve as a swift and effective way to raise awareness throughout the country.

##What are the risks associated with the development of this app? Why wouldn’t it be delivered completely (scope), on time and on budget? Identify 3 to 5 risks that are relevant in your case.

Naturally, as developers embroiled in what can be considered a global cause, we would like the application to prepare the general population of Brazil as much as possible where the Zika virus is concerned.

However, there is some risks that could delay the app deployment:

Changes in app content due to constant discoveries of new informations and news regarding Zika virus. Developing the UI for different screen sizes. Implementation of push notifications.
