1. Community Program Assistant - Andela Learning Community - April 2022 - June 2023

  • Manage communications on the Andela Learning Community platform with over 45k learners by constantly monitoring and responding to queries, issues, concerns and trends.
  • Assisted the Andela Senior Program Managers with Product campaigns on the platform that increased user engagement.
  • Source for and provide learning resources for the learners.
  • Engage users with different learning activities, initiatives, events etc.

2. Program Assistant- Google Africa Developer Scholarship (GADS) - July 2021-December 2022

  • Training Programs Execution: Supported and constantly engaged GADS learners and mentors across programs. I have been part of a team that managed the execution of 2 iterations of training programs in Africa, with over 30k learners in each program.
  • Led and coordinated Women of GADS and 100 days of GADS initiative, which led to the excellent skill development of all the participants, while promoting diversity and inclusion

  • Define the scope and manage the development of the Andela Mentor Management System App, encompassing both web and Android versions and other applications used in the Andela Learning Community.
  • Identify the project's goals, objectives, requirements, and scope and create a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required
  • Provided project leadership and guidance to Technical Team Leads responsible for developing the App’s Admin section within the cross-functional Team.
  • Facilitate and Moderate Scrum ceremonies, ensuring effective churning of product increment and collaboration among the cross-functional teams responsible for development.
  • Managed GitHub repositories, Jira board, and other tools used by the team during development and for collaborations.
