@RobGentile17 I know you did some work here previously. This PR make the .ts file the source of truth and finally eliminates the old .js file. I moved all of your flex work you previously did over to this PR. Two things can happen from this point:

  1. This PR can be merged into master then you can merge it into your working branch
  2. OR you can cherry pick the commit from this PR into yours to be included in your final PR
  3. ** Alternatively ** you may copy from this PR into yours as well

I am okay with either one since these are new enhancements to global props.

@thestephenmarshall not sure what happened there didn't mean to close this. But I think it's best to merge this with my working branch when you merge the PR to ensure everything is up to date and I can rework the logic for flexDirection
