In the document search (public/pro), sort by:

  • Relevance [default]
  • Date (newest)
  • Date (oldest)
  • Title

If easy to realise, add a sort option for all search:

  • User: Relevance [default], Name
  • Research project: Relevance [default], Name, Date (newest), Date (oldest)
  • Collection: Relevance [default], Name
  • Deposit: Relevance [default], Date added (newest), Date added (oldest)

Sort by date does to seem to work, either ascending or descending. (pro and public views)

  • In the public view, after launching a search, we should click 2 times on the sorting button to choose another sort option.
  • In the professional view, ideally the document default sort in case of a search with search terms should be "relevance".
  • Indeed the document sort by date does not work. Try this search.
    • In the research projects, it does not work neither
  • [not blocking] The options in the sort menu should be sorted alphabetically.
  • [not blocking] The options in the sort menu should not include the option currently selected.
  • [not blocking] Sort by title: documents starting with a diacritics are at the end, but this is not wanted. Example: "Études sur les besoins..."
  • [not blocking] Collection sort by name should consider the language of the interface to chose by which name to sort. It is not the case

* Configures sorting behavior for all records types.
* Indexes the fields to sort on as keyword.
* Avoids to click two times on dropdown to show it.
* Closes #402.
