These frames are needed for visualizing correctly the sensors measurements from rviz.

Keeping in draft since I don't know if it is the best solution.

I personally don't have, I hope that exporting all those sensors frames does not create troubles

Besides this issue(robotology/simmechanics-to-urdf#52) I think we can merge it, what you think about @traversaro ?
