"Some files were not up-to-date", so I guess I need to run some command to update them...? The comment in the file I changed says

// Defines the server-side configuration of the rust-analyzer. We generate
// *parts* of VS Code's `package.json` config from this.

but it doesn't say how to do that generation.

EDIT: Ah, found it.
