Babel is updating v7 sometime soon. Many libs are already compatible or are getting ready to support it. For us Babel v7 is especially interesting for using some of the new React v16 features such as fragments.

I have tried updating on the babel7branch but ava has problems / has not updated yet.
avajs/ava#1598

I updated Ava and a few tests to work with Babel7.

documentationjs is the next blocker. documentationjs/documentation#1036
