Hi @simonwep how are you doing? Nice to meet you here!
I would like to be a maintainer of this cool project. Actually, I was designing a very similar component, but is better to develop and improve java-express.

Hey :) I had someone previously work on this, but as it is sometimes the case you don't have time to work on it anymore.

The last person left off with #18 - are you interesting in picking up where he left of (we can also close it and you create a new one if that makes sense)? It think was about code-formatting, setting up a linter and GitHub actions.

After that, I think it's the easiest to just check out the issues we currently have and create PRs for each if you're interested. If everything works out I'd add you as contributor 😄
