SHR Website Service Positioning

Audience

  • Executives who are 1) early adopters and 2) budget decision makers and represent the following POV’s IT
  • HealthIT Policy (standards groups like HL7, FHIR)
  • Physicians/Nurses
  • Business Process/Quality Improvement
  • Patient Advocates

Objective

  • Move decision-making executives closer, and more quickly, to adopting SHR
  • Embed messaging that speaks to the different types of decision-making executives
  • Counter-balance standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD) getting more coverage
  • Establish and enhance SHR's brand and reputation

Strategy

  • Simple. Few correct words that make the story clear
  • Distinctive. Stand out, don’t sound like everyone else
  • Memorable. Connect with them in a way that is a little different

  • Headline: at-a-glance idea of what we do
  • Subhead: clarify and specify what we do
  • Call-to-action: details that identifies avenues of collaboration and moves them down the “use" funnel, further qualifying while educating and compelling

Standard Health Record: One human, one health record

A US Standard Health Record is:

  • .. a simple, computable spec that defines core human attributes for care,
  • .. aimed at emergency and primary care,
  • .. anchors the patient as the atomic unit,
  • .. understandable and verifiable by clinicians, patients, and algorithms,
  • .. open source software, and
  • .. critical to solving healthcare semantic interoperability.
