What are your interests and skills? (e.g. UI design, Python development, Docker magic, ...) Is there anything in particular that you'd be really interested in?

I think the first step would be cloning this repository and seeing if you can get it to run. Hopefully it should work without any major issues. After that, it would probably be a good idea to set up some decent form of communication (e.g. Discord, Gitter, Telegram,...)

I do have an interest in UI design, but mostly I just want to amplify the capabilities of what this project can achieve in regards to the complexity of math that it can represent. Most of my interest lies in the math aspect of it: making its functionality allow for more. @stefnotch

@elijahawork Sounds great! Yes, QuantumSheet definitely needs more capabilities like integration, solving differential equations, vector and matrix support, defining custom functions, ...

The most relevant parts here would be

1. ExpressionElement.vue The mathematical expression editor that uses mathlive
2. expression-element.ts The "model" behind it
3. pyodide-cas.ts The part that translates expressions to Python and communicates with the pyodide/sympy web worker
4. pyodide-worker.js The pyodide/sympy web worker

Tell me when you have gotten it up and running locally. Also, which form of communication would you prefer? (GitHub issues? Or a Discord server? Or something different?)

Currently I'm working on other projects (notably WESL and Math2Model, which is a part of my masters thesis).

The last quantum-sheet related project that I worked on is aftermath editor, which was my bachelor's thesis. Both that project, and QuantumSheet are very high on my list of projects that I want to return to. After all, I have some very concrete use-cases of my own for them. As for when I will get around to returning to them, I cannot say. Best guess is that I can do so after my masters thesis is finished, so anytime between 6 months and 2 years.
