These APIs are from the Swift 1.2 => Swift 2.0 transition, and are not
relevant anymore.

Removing them reduces the surface area of the library that needs to be
reviewed.

We are keeping these APIs throughout the 2.* release. We will remove them when we prepare trunk for 3.0, by merging the https://github.com/apple/swift/tree/swift-3-api-guidelines branch.
