Tailwind 4 not scanning blade files?

I don't want to open an issue as I'm sure it's just something I've missed but I've just upgraded to v4 and it all went relatively well except Tailwind doesn't seem to be scanning my .blade.php files for classes

It's an Inertia site but I have a couple of blade pages for internal use, I've show the classes and that it's in the normal resources/views directory

and then here's the actual page and you can see there are no screen class styles being applied

Have I missed something? I tried manually setting @source "../resources/views/images/article-featured-image.blade.php" in my app.css but that still didn't work

The path in @source should be relative to the CSS file it is declared in. Where is your app.css file?

app.css is in resources/css/

I tried a couple of different variations for the source ("../../", "../", "./" etc etc) but I've just tried again and now I'm getting @source paths must be quoted. no matter what I put in there or swap single quotes for double quotes

Then I think it should be something like:

@source "../views";

Fixed! 😅 it was the one thing I didn't try: ../../resources/views/**/*.blade.php

Still odd as I thought TW4 would scan it automatically but hey at least it's working, thanks for the help!

is it necessary to specify ...resources/views/...?

I would have thought ../../**/*.blade.php is enough, but it still did not work for me
