### WELCOME TO THE OPEN TRAVEL PROJECT WIKI

The site is intended for familiarization with the scope of services in tourism. The site is not a complete replacement for high-grade job. The service does not promote any ideological or political goals and is created only for the provision of services in the field of tourism with subsequent necessary decisions.

System requirements

It is web-based applications without any serious system requirements for use.

  • Any default Browser:

    • Google Chrome 36+
    • Microsoft Edge 20+
    • Mozilla Firefox 31+
    • Internet Explorer 11+
    • Safari 6+ ( MacOS only )

  • Browser Configuration:

    • Strongly Recommended--add www.opentravel.com to trusted sites.
    • JavaScript must be enabled.
    • Cookies must be enabled.
    • Pop-up windows must be enabled.

First acquaintance with the service

In order to start interacting with the site, make sure that:

  1. You use a web browser that supports the necessary aspects for working with a service that supports HTML5 code and virtualization of CSS code and JavaScript latest version.
  2. Stable internet connection.

HOW TO RUN

(Being at the development stage, the site is launched using this method below)

  • Open the browser on your device and make sure of existing a stable Internet connection.
  • Clone project to your computer https://github.com/tansuluu/Opentravel.git
  • Change database properties in application.properties file with your data
    1. username
    2. password
    3. database name
    4. spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto =update make it create
  • Run project
    • On terminal
    • With any IDE environment (Intellij IDEA, advised)
  • Insert data to tables sql tables data
    • spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto =update make it update
  • Now you can open a browser, type http://localhost:8080/, where you can see the project!

  • find 3 recently registered tourists.

  • as well more information about site.

On offers page:

  • view all offers.
  • most searcher offers by their title.
  • detailed information about all individual places.
  • activity display ( likes, comments ).

On users page:

  • can see all registered users.
  • search by name.
  • and by clicking to name, user will be sent to profile page.
  • there user can see all detailed information about searched user.
  • all added places and blogs written by searched user.
  • also read post that have been written to searched profile page.

On blogs page:

  • view all blogs for more actual news.
  • search blogs by title.
  • read detailed information about each individual blog.
  • read comments that have been left on each individual blog.
