Any recent debian (inlcuding ubuntus), maybe other linuxes
- build-essential
- java
- zeromq (https://github.com/pyronicide/zeromq-cookbook)
This cookbook does not (yet?) include the path/classpath "hacks" mentioned in the offical documentation (http://www.zeromq.org/bindings:java), so you have to call your app like this (paths configurable in attributes):
java -Djava.library.path=/usr/local/lib -classpath /usr/local/share/java/zmq.jar:. YOURCLASS
node[:jzmq][:install_dir]
- location to install jzmq to (defaults to /usr/local)node[:jzmq][:src_mirror]
- full URL to download the source from. (defaults to github trunk tarball)node[:jzmq][:zeromq_install_dir]
- location zeromq lib was installed to (defaults to /usr/local), see zeromq cookbook
Installs jzmq and configures it.
