Equipments:

Electrolyte bucket and solution, pipettes, towels

Connecting Cap to NetStation

  1. Once cap is roughly set, move over to the testing room
  2. Connect the cap by plugging connector end of the cap to the arm/holder
  3. Lock by turning the knob

Impedance Check

You can use the DVI switcher to show testing room display to mirror the NetStation computer display

  1. Open NetStation > Session > Choose PsychoPy EEG
  2. In NetStation, go to Panel > Impedance > Measure Impedance
    - This should display the map of the cap - If the entire map is gray, it possibly means the reference electrode is not properly in contact - Once reference point is set properly, you can see green and red labels
  3. Bring in the electrolyte bucket
  4. Using pipettes, apply additional electrolytes between the sponge and scalp to fix the red labels
  5. Provide towels/tissues as necessary

Run Sample Experiment

  1. Switch the DVI display to PsychoPy computer
  2. Run an example PsychoPy code to try out for basic tasks (pyns_expv2.py)
