Incompatibility Issues Nuxt3

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Create a nuxt3 project
2. install pinia and configure
3. run 'npm install'
4. run 'npm run dev'

Expected behavior

Ability to use pinia as expected in nuxt application.

I am using nuxt3 and running (latest) version 3.15.0.  Not sure the issue here or how to resolve any further.
