how do i fix this vue error

when i run vue create vue-project it returns me the following error message

the solution lies within the error message lol!

npm ERR! To permanently fix this problem, please run:
npm ERR! sudo chown -R 501:20 "/Users/elijahpereira/.npm"

just type in sudo chown -R 501:20 "/Users/-----your user name-----/.npm"
