This paper proposes to inject the factual knowledge from knowledge graphs into (large) language models (up to GPT-3.5), by retrieving the relevant facts from knowledge graphs based on their textual similarities with the input question and then injecting them as the prompt of language models. This approach improves the performance of language models on knowledge graph question answering tasks by up to 48% on average, compared to baselines without knowledge graphs.
