Next steps

The helm installation does NOT expose the resolver to the internet. This step is on the customer side. Below are examples of services (both must be applied), which will expose the resolver to the internet and assign external IP adress

apiVersion: v1
kind: Service
metadata:
  name: wb-resolver-tcp-external
  labels:
    app.kubernetes.io/instance: resolver
  namespace: <your_namespace>
spec:
  selector:
    app: wb-resolver
  type: LoadBalancer
  loadBalancerIP: <external_IP>
  ports:
    - name: dns-tcp
      port: 53
      protocol: TCP
      targetPort: 53

---
apiVersion: v1
kind: Service
metadata:
  name: wb-resolver-udp-external
  labels:
    app.kubernetes.io/instance: resolver
  namespace: <your_namespace>
spec:
  selector:
    app: wb-resolver
  type: LoadBalancer
  loadBalancerIP: <external_IP>
  ports:
    - name: dns-udp
      port: 53
      targetPort: 53
      protocol: UDP
