Hey, thanks for you pull request :)
We like your logo idea, but there are some things we would change:

Blue and red is a little unsuitable, only red would be nicer
Vertical clinch the logo (more flag like appeal)
Make the font curve with the flag and change it to something Terminus or 3270 like
continuous left and right border
