Trimming and Exporting

Clip Library offers quick trimming and exporting features to help you quickly trim and share your clips. This guide will walk you through the process of trimming clips and exporting them in various formats.
- Open a Clip
- The white progress bar is draggable both at the beginning and at the end, those are referred to as "trim handles"

Start Point: Press

or drag the left trim handle. -
End Point: Press

or drag the right trim handle.
- Use the arrow keys to navigate through the video.
- Press

(comma) to move backward frame by frame. - Press

(period) to move forward frame by frame.
- Trim data is automatically saved when you adjust the trim points.
- Closing the player will preserve your trim settings.

Video Export: Press
E
or the "Export" button. -
Audio Export: Press
Shift + E
to export only the audio or holdShift
and press the "Export" button.
- Use 'Ctrl + E' for video or 'Ctrl + Shift + E' for audio.
- A save dialog will appear, allowing you to choose the export location and filename.
- Video exports use H.264 encoding for wide compatibility.
- Audio exports are saved as MP3 files.
- Trim your clip before exporting to save only the desired portion.
- Use frame-by-frame navigation (', and .' keys) for precise trimming.
- The video player respects your trim points during playback.
- Exported files maintain the volume set in the player.
