Translation Readiness Checklist

Prior to starting formal translation projects, Acclaro recommends the following checks to make sure that on translation imports all the expected content is indeed translated.
- Perform a database backup
- Install the plugin (preferably to a staging site first) and confirm there are no errors
- Navigate to the Settings page under Translations in the sidebar menu and verify requirements are met
- Check field settings to ensure translation flags are properly set
- Check section settings to ensure translation flags are properly set
- Check 3rd party content plugins installed and verify if the plugin supports them
- Export a page of each section type, and import the source as the target, then see if any content is missing from the translation
- If you are using Acclaro's Translation Services, plan a round trip delivery with pseudo-translation with your dedicated Acclaro project manager
