Tips and tricks:

  • The live filter form on the 'List all' page of subjects and samples can be used to quickly locate the record that you needed
  • The batch search function under 'Samples' main menu can help to find samples that from multiple subjects
  • Many webpages have 'Download' button, by clicking which, users can download the data to their local computer.
  • 'My Collection' module. If the user's research focuses on a subset of subjects and samples, the user can click the 'Heart' button to add them to the 'My Collection' page, from where the user can quickly access all the subjects and samples that are used in the study.
  • mCard can be used to initiate sample transfer. Users can click the 'Cart' symbol to add samples to the 'Samples to retrieve or return' page, then download the list as a CSV file and hand it to lab managers to retrieve/return the samples
