consider the position scale when checking for approximate solutions #50

This is an addition to the PR #47 which introduced the position_scale parameter.
I just realized that for the approximate solution, the roation_scale is used to see if an approximate check should be performed. Therefore, it only makes sense to also consider the position_scale in the same way.
