Victorian Flavor Mod v0.5.0 Changelog:
This update is fairly extensive, doubling our GitHub commits from just over 500 to nearly 1000. The total number of errors in the mod has also been reduced to under 400, and a number of the remaining ones are unavoidable. It'd be a bit difficult condensing so many changes here, so these are some of the most noticeable ones.
Content:
-Indonesia has been reworked, adding 25 new centralized tags across the archipeligo
-Algeria has been reworked, adding 6 new decentralized tags and 9 centralized ones
-Added 17 new tags to the Middle East, primarily Kurdish principalities
-Added Plombieres Agreement and over 30 events related to 1848 and Italian unification for Italy, Austria, and France
-Added decisions pertaining to France invading Algeria
-Added formables for Tanzania, Sweden-Norway
-Added Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria as releasables with appropriate flags and dynamic names
-Added decisions to form and expand the Chartered Companies of German East Africa, Imperial British East Africa, the Niger Company, and the South Africa Company with dynamic names and flags based on the colonial overlord
-Added Royal Greenland Trading Company
-Added proper collapse journals for Chartered Companies
-Added Uruguayan Civil War journals
-Added separate Luxembourg state
-Added Anglo-Indian culture and pops
-Added cultural Indian Unification if the British East India Company no longer exists
-Added "Denominational Exclusion" religious law
-Added dynamic flags, names, and colors for Korea
-Added a few journals for Korea
-Added Ibadi, Druze, and Yazidi pops where appropriate
-Added a number of new ethnicities for character portraits to split up the generic Caucasian one in Europe
-Expanded the Sick Man of Europe journal entry, extending the timeline of the reform period to be more historically accurate
-Expanded the Tazimat journal entries to be more difficult in line with the extended time to complete, added new options for Naval Reform, Local Government Reform and dealing with the Kurdish Emirs
-Added decisions to either annex the land of the Kurdish Emirs in the name of centralisation, or to create an autonomous Kurdish state under your rule
-Added new event chains dealing with Egypt allowing for a relationship between the Ottoman Empire and Egypt more like their historical state of affairs
-Added a new event chain dealing with religious conflict in Lebanon
-Redrew some borders throughout Central Asia, the Middle East, Indonesia, and West Europe
Gameplay:
-Relationship requirements adjusted for Romania and South Africa journals
-Set truces between the Netherlands and Belgium, Egypt and the Ottomans, the UK annd Ashanti, Greece annd the Ottomans, Siam and Dai Nam, and France and Algerian tags
-Frisian culture now has a homeland in Friesland
-Tensions are now reset after native rebellions
-Adjusted Carlist control and pops at game start
-Adjusted pops for Moldavia, Wallachia, Montenegro, Russian Dobrudja, and a few Ottoman states
-Adjusted pops for about half of the Spanish states
-Ili is now a state for Turkestan formation
-Bumped up Korea's arable land to Paradox's values
-Tributaries are now no longer subservient in all scenarios
-Carlist and Reformist revolts are now revolution diploplays
Bugfixes and Minor Tweaks:
-Reduced error log down to under 400 errors, most of which that are remaining being unavoidable
-Protectorates are now colored based on their overlord (subject to change)
-Renamed Columbia District to Columbia Department
-Canadian tags should no longer collapse into decentralized tags
-Columbia Department states in Montana and Wyoming should go to the US during the Oregon Treaty
-Ainu should properly be a Japanese tributary again
