DETAILED INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Run the installer and follow the prompts to install the program.

1.1. Run the installer and read the license agreement, click the "I Agree" button at the bottom if you accept the terms.

1.2. Choose if you want the ReadMe to be placed in the installation folder and if you want Always PTT to run on Windows startup, if you do simply click the "Next" button at the bottom, if not you can deselect the "ReadMe (recommended)" checkbox and/or the Run at Startup (optional) checkbox. The ReadMe could be useful to have in case you need it and don't have internet access. The ReadMe only uses about 8KB of space so there's not really any reason not to have it but the option is there anyway. Having Always PTT run at Windows startup can be useful to always keep your microphone muted until the assigned push-to-talk key is being pressed.

1.3. If you need to you can choose a custom install location by clicking the "Browse..." button next to the edit box and selecting a location or by typing an install location in the edit box. It is recommended that you use the default install location, however it is not required. If you are happy to use the default install location simply click the "Next" button at the bottom.

1.4. You can choose to change the Start Menu folder by typing a folder name in the edit box or not create one at all by selecting the "Do not create shortcuts" checkbox. It is recommended that you leave these settings as default by simply clicking the "Install" button at the bottom.

1.5. After clicking the "Install" button the installer will take a moment to install Always PTT. You can view the install log on this screen. If the install was successful, you can now click the "Close" button at the bottom.

INSTALLER TROUBLESHOOTING:

If you get an error after clicking the "Install" button the cause could be that Always PTT is currently running, you will need to close Always PTT and then click the "Retry" button to continue.

Another possibility is that you did not run the installer while using an account with administrator privileges, you will need to run the installer with an account with administrator privileges.

If you have clicked the "Abort" or "Ignore" buttons then you will need to reinstall Always PTT as some important files would have already been removed by the installer.
