Features & Protections

Illegal Stack offers the following features and protections:

Plugin Customization

1. Exploit Logging - Saves all exploits to a separate file.
2. Disable in Worlds - Disable IllegalStack checks in specified worlds.
3. In Game Notifications - Send a notification to your staff|players whenever an exploit is detected.
4. Configure / Translate almost every message sent by IllegalStack in messages.yml
5. Item Scan Delay - Adjust the delay between item scans (warning increasing this value too much may allow items to be missed in player inventories!)

**1.16 ONLY Protections **

1. Prevents the piglin dupe
   • Piglin Dupe Exploit.
2. Prevents crashing the server using a downward facing dispenser + flint and steel
   • Prevent Shulker Crash w/ flint.

**1.15 ONLY Protections **

1. Prevents the tripwire dupe
   • Tripwire Dupe Exploit.

**1.15 / 1.14 Protections **

1. Prevents villager trade exploits
   • Workstation replacement exploit.
   • zombie villager cure exploit.
   • broken restock timer exploit.
2. Prevents Entity Related Lag Exploits
   • Vibrating Block Exploit.
   • Projectiles & Water Exploit.

1.14 Protections:

1. Prevents the Silk Touch Book Exploit
2. Prevents the food dupe

1.13 Protections:

1. Prevents villager swim exploit.
2. Excessive firework exploit.

1.13+ Protections:

1. Prevents players from mass farming records with a single block of TNT and a skeleton.

1.12 Protections:

1. Prevents the recipe book dupe.
2. Prevents the item frame / piston dupe.
3. Prevents players from using a dispenser to place a shulker above the max build height, crashing the server.

Protections affecting ALL versions of spigot/minecraft:

1. End and Nether portal duping methods.
2. Oversized Chunk Saving exploit with signs and books.
3. Prevents pistons from being able to glitch minecarts inside solid blocks.
4. Fixes items with non vanilla enchantment levels, bad attribute modifiers and more.
   • (Supports several major 3rd party plugins that break this rule.)

5. Removes or Fixes items with an amount that is larger than the vanilla stack size.
   • allows for users with a permission to bypass this check.
   • allows admins to bypass this check.
   • option to blacklist or whitelist items.
   • Allows the removal of specific item types from players/inventories (eg bedrock)
   • destroys overstacked items found in hoppers.
6. Block Players above the nether.
   • allows for custom nether ceiling heights
   • option to kill players who fly under the bedrock floor as well
7. Prevents auto clicker fishing and detects fishing mods.
8. Prevents tnt dupers requiring indrect block power.
9. Prevents hopper + dropper/dispenser dupes.
10. Prevents the RNG Enchant Exploit
11. Prevents players from using enderpearls to phase through glass blocks.
12. Prevents players from using commands while sleeping in a bed.
13. Breaks nether portals that are blocked up used to trap other players upon login.
14. Prevents players from using an item enchanted with looting in their offhand from getting looting bonus' with a bow or other non enchanted weapon.
15. Prevents players from using dispensers / droppers from breaking end portals.
16. Prevents minecarts from being able to mount boats, typically only possible with a hacked client used to dupe.
17. Prevents players from using a dupe involving lava and a hopper/hopper minecart.
18. Prevent players from using beds in the end/nether as cheap explosives for PVP and destroying blocks.
19. Prevents an exploit using tnt, a skeleton and a pit full of creepers, used to mass farm records all at once.

**Multi Version Protections: **

(may not be active in ALL server versions but not specific to a single version)

1. Prevent's players from being able to destroy bedrock.
2. Prevents dupes involving mobs which have chests
3. Prevents the hopper across unloaded chunks dupe.
4. Prevents players from putting shulker boxes inside other shulker boxes.
5. Prevents zero tick exploits.
6. Prevents rail/carpet dupers.
7. Prevents regular players from having non-obtainable potions.
8. Prevents the no-rocket elytra boost glitch
9. Prevents the rapid item swap lag exploit.
10. Prevents ArmorStand/Piston Lag machines
11. Prevents End Crystal / Piston Lag machines
12. Prevents players from crashing the server with an end gateway and vehicles such as a boat.

**User Requested / Less Common Protections: **

**(Most of the following are not needed for most users of this plugin, they are very special case use.) Please don't turn these on just because they're off, again it is quite rare you will ever need to turn them on. **

1. Ability to remove items from players/inventories based on their name.
2. Ability to remove items from players/inventories based on their lore.
3. Ability to set the plugin to notify for selected protections only INSTEAD of blocking (likely to be really spammy)
4. Ability to prevent players with access to /gmc from bringing in items from single player worlds via the creative tab. (Requires protocollib and sometimes does not work well with paper.)
5. Ability to prevent zombies from ever picking up items. (old drowned dupe)
6. Ability to reset spawners of a specific type to pig spawners (when mined via silk touch)
7. Ability to destroy shulkers with invalid meta data tags. (REQUIRES NBT API )
8. Will remove any item that has been renamed via an anvil or /give command unless the player has the IllegalStack.RenameBypass permission
9. Prevent players from using vehicles to glitch their heads inside blocks.
10. Forces the plugin to Ignore any shulker place event. This will disable removal of stacked items when a shulker is placed
