The implementation was done by Anastasia Galkin from the original publication without any reference to the Numerical Recipes book. This may be distributed under the same license as IRAF itself.

Since the packaged evolved from IRAF, it contains some code copied from the book "Numerical Recipes" by Press, Flannery, Teukolski, and Vetterling. This code is non-distributable.
This pull request applies the relevant patches from iraf/iraf-v216#37 to the package. To build the package, it needs an IRAF version with this pull request applied, since it depends on additional libraries for fftpack and lapack.
