In my opinion there are only two licenses for this project Apache and MIT. The reason why I think Apache is the right one is: The Apache license says “do whatever you want with this, just don’t sue me” but does ist with many more words then MIT and lawyers like it, because it adds specificity. Apache also contains a patent license and retaliation clause which is designed to prevent patents from encumbering the software project. But it's up to you which one you think is best.

I am going to close this PR without merging because as indicated in the comment on #38 , I, as the project's current sole maintainer, feel like I need to be the one to determine the CoC and license or at the very least understand what exists out there and approve anything from a knowledgable standpoint.
Unfortunately I am not at this point yet and would therefore want to put these off for some time and ideally do these myself
