Migration from 0.x to 1.0.0
If you're installing a fresh version of this integration, you can skip this page, as everything will function correctly right out of the box.
However, if you're upgrading from any version 0.x to version 1.0.0, please follow these steps to ensure a seamless upgrade.

Navigate to Home Assistant and go to
Settings > Device & Services. -
Locate and select the "E-connect Alarm" integration.

Click on the three dots, then choose "Delete" to remove the integration.

Directly on your Home Assistant server (outside of the UI), delete the folder named
custom_components/econnect_alarm. -
Install the updated integration at
custom_components/elmo_iess_alarm. -
Restart Home Assistant.

Go back to
Settings > Device & Servicesin Home Assistant and opt for "Add Integration". -
Search and select "Elmo/IESS Alarm", then continue with its installation.
Upon migrating to the newer version, you might notice that your previous dashboards reference an outdated entity ID:
To finalize the migration, update all dashboards. You can find all sensors and sectors as binary_sensor.elmo_iess_alarm_*.
