Allocating specific schemas to users

As an Administrator, you can restrict certain users to using only certain schemas, or share otherwise private schemas with them.

Allocating Schemas

1. In the header, click "Users", then search for the user you wish to edit.
2. Click the username, then click edit.
3. Scroll down to the "Restricted User and Schemas" section.
4. Choose the schemas you wish this user to be able to access and optionally click "Restrict this user to allocated dataset file schemas".
5. Save the user details.

Checking a User's Schemas

1. In the header, click "Users", then search for the user you wish to check.
2. Click the username.
3. The list of schemas the user can access is shown at the bottom of the page.

Using the Schemas

When the user is logged in, they will be able to create datasets with the allocated schema in the dataset drop-down menu.
