Different Minecraft versions
Minecraft on PC comes in two flavours: the Java Edition is the classic version of Minecraft and supports custom mods. The Windows 10 Edition also known as "Bedrock" is a cross-platform version of Minecraft supporting cross-play between consoles and PC as well as Minecraft Realms.
EyeMine only supports Minecraft: Java Edition. EyeMine makes use of the modding support to make changes to improve the accessibility of Minecraft, which we cannot do other versions.
Please be aware that EyeMine is not compatible with Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition. If you are an experienced eye gaze user you may be able to get some access to the Bedrock version using an alternate app - please contact eyemine@specialeffect.org.uk for advice.
If you play with other Minecraft mods, or access remote servers, you may wish to play different Java versions. We strongly recommend you try out the official version first, unless you are an existing experienced EyeMine player. The official version supports Minecraft Java Edition v1.11.2 (using EyeMine Classic) and v1.14.4 (using EyeMine V2). For most users, this will require everything they need
The talented modder Mrbysco has kindly ported EyeMine to later versions of Forge, which is available to install from https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/eyemine-pack. There may be small differences in what features are supported.
EyeMine is a fork of the excellent OptiKey project, which offers computer control and speech for advanced eye gaze users.
If you're using the EyeMine Classic version (versions 1.x.x) then you can find legacy documentation at the EyeMine classic wiki
