Trigger's PC is packed with features to make your experience with Gen 3 games even more enjoyable. They include improvements to convenience, speed, replayability, and customization.
Your PC in Trigger's PC offers unlimited storage space for anything your heart desires. With this, hoarding becomes extremely easy and effective.
- View basic information about the trainer from playtime and Pokédex completion to badge count and currencies.
- Send currencies to and from other games. You no longer need to spend a currency because you've hit the maximum value for it.
- Change the Altering Cave Pokémon for FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald games.
- Re-enable the battle with Steven in Emerald.
- Store basically unlimited amounts of every currency in Your PC that goes far beyond the maximum value of the games.
- View the total time you have used Trigger's PC for.
- View up to 3 rows of Pokémon Boxes from 3 different games at a time.
- Easily move Pokémon between games and boxes.
- Multi-select Pokémon with ctrl allowing you to move large amounts at a time.
- Release Eggs. Abandoning a Pokémon Egg in the wild with no one to care for it may be unethical but when you have boxes and boxes full of the things, then you've certainly reached the point where you couldn't care less.
- View every single detail about a Pokémon in the summary page. Event the information the games hide.
- Store unlimited amounts of Pokémon in Your PC. Your PC also allows you to add multiple rows of Pokémon boxes that you can view individually.
- Mark a game or Your PC row as a Living Dex. With this, any box that is labeled correctly will show faded images of the required Pokémon in every empty slot. The Format is StartDex#-EndDex# for regular boxes and Unown for Unown boxes.
Trigger's PC has a wide variety of options for modifying Pokémon in a way that doesn't break the important restrictions in the game.
- Nickname any Pokémon. You no longer need to own a Pokémon to nickname it. No more trading a Pokémon back to it's original game just to change or remove its name.
- Manage Moves. Rearrange or delete any move a Pokémon knows without having to go to the Move Deleter.
- Give/Take Item. Give an item from any game to your Pokémon.
- Change Markings. Pretty basic, nothing special here.
- Relearn Move. Relearn a move that a Pokémon could have learned from RSE or FRLG. You may pay in Mushrooms or Heartscales. You no longer need to trade a Pokémon to FRLG or RSE to learn a specific move.
- Teach Machine. Teach a TM or HM to a Pokémon stored on any game.
- Evolve. Evolve a Pokémon if they meet the requirements for evolution without having to level them up. You can also evolve trade evolution Pokémon and Pokémon requiring items assuming you can supply it. Trigger's PC features a fancy shmancy little evolution scene you can watch with a remixed theme to listen to. Yes the scene is long but there's a skip option for those who don't want to enjoy it. Just like in the game you can cancel an evolution if you end up deciding against it.
- Replace Ball. One of my favorite features is the ability to replace the ball a Pokémon was caught in, at the cost of consuming the selected ball. This means allows you to customize your Pokémon more than before and add a nice personal touch to them.
- Effort Ribbon. Award any deserving Pokémon an Effort Ribbon. You no longer need to trade it to RSE just to do that.
- Wipe EVs. Wipe the EVs of a Pokémon you've decided the respec without having to go through the trouble of feeding it tons of stat reducing berries in Emerald. You can only wipe all EVs at once so the berries still have their place.
- EV Training. Because Pokémon at level 100 can no longer gain EVs through battling, Trigger's PC offers a feature to level a Pokémon above 95 down to a minimum of level 95 to continue any EV training you want to do.
- Round EVs. Any EVs above 252 will be lowered to 252 to free up some extra points. This fixes the silly issue where you can gain EVs past 252. EVs max at 255 but the last 3 EV points will never do anything because they're divided by 4 when calculating stats.
- Fix Roaming IVs. The IVs of Roaming Pokémon in generation 3 are horribly crippled because most of them are cut from the Pokémon when it's caught. This will randomize and add in the missing IVs of the Pokémon so that it can be more viable in Battle Frontier and such.
- Level Down. Level Down any Pokémon that can not be legitly acquired at level 5. This includes all Legendaries, Ditto, and Unown. This feature is intended for people that would like to use specific Pokémon in their playthrough.
- Change Deoxys Form. Change the Deoxys form for the purpose of teaching it a specific move. Deoxys Form will not be saved in any game other than Your PC.
- Send items, decorations, and Pokéblocks to other games with ease.
- Store unlimited amounts of resources in Your PC.
- See hidden information about a Pokéblock including the values for each flavor.
- Put away decorations from your Secret Base or Bedroom without having to visit them.
- Add and store any important item to your collection in Your PC. Here you can have a copy of every Key Item, Battle CD, and HM stored in your PC for hoarding/collection purposes.
- Your PC features 4 groups that comprise the entirety of the items pocket. In-Battle Items, Valuable Items/Vitamins, Hold Items, and Misc Items.
- Sort your items based on an order specific to the pocket you're in. Items in your Items Pocket will be sorted for most used items first while items in your PC will be sorted like-wise but in a different order.
