Stepper mount for 6mm synchronous belt (e.g., GT2) drive attaches to one end of of 20x40mm standard or MakerSlide aluminum extrusion of arbitrary length.
Stepper mount is 3D printable in PLA and has the following features:
- integrated thermal isolation washers allows PLA mount to be used with steppers as hot as 135°F. Decrease stepper driver current or change 3DP filament material to stay below HDT.
- belt idler guides belt into extrusion channel used as belt return
- fastens with pair of M5 screws on side or bottom of mount.
- belt-tensioning slots accommodate a slotted screwdriver used as a lever
- optical limit stop mount for standard RepRap optical limit switch
- M5x10mm screw (2)
- M5 extrusion nut (2)
- GT2 20T pulley for 5mm shaft (1)
- 5x10x4mm ball bearing such as MR105ZZ (2)
- NEMA 11 stepper motor with 5mm shaft (1)
- M2.5x10mm screw (4)
