Y-axis Gantry for 20x40mm Extrusions

The X40Y is a horizontal y-gantry that can be mounted as desired on a 20mm extrusion frame. The X40Y gantry itself uses a 20x40mm horizontal aluminum extrusion for A 20x40mm horizontal aluminum framing extrusion is used as a y-axis linear rail capable of moving a medium weight z-axis tool head precisely. The y-axis gantry uses a synchronous 6mm belt drive (e.g., GT2) with belt return in an extrusion channel and can be driven with a NEMA11 or NEMA14 stepper motor.
